Bento Mania #39
Top left clockwise Bento belongs to Baby Princess, Eldest Princess, Daddy and Prince.
Food consist of Unagi & zucchini maki, edamame in skew and California strawberries which is 10x sweeter than Cameron Highlands strawberries. This, you have to agree with me, right?
Usually when I finished packing their lunch box in the morning, kids and Daddy will still be in bed by the time I left for work. I will layout all their bento boxes on the table. By now, kids are familiar with which-bento-belongs-to-who. I’m sure you are able to guess that too.

You’re a supermom, with superb time management skill. Kudos to you.
I find Korean strawberries are even sweeter. Try that when they are in season. California strawberries have the advantage of being more readily available, though.

The color of those food looks wonderful and coordinated. I wish I had the patience to beautify my bento too (it always ended up with rice on the left side and chicken/veg on the right).
By the way, I want to ask, about the previous post, when you said that after marinating meat, we have to store them in the fridge to avoid contamintation. I mean, after we cooked, won’t those food be free of bacteria and virus? So what’s the difference of putting it in fridge and not?
Thanks

So pretty & healthy!!! BTw did u made those sushi or did u buy. How did u manage to cut those sushi rolls and still keep them in such good shape. I have such difficulty cutting my sushi rolls. By the time i finish cutting, they no longer has their nice round shape.
The Queen says: I prefer to use the sushi mould rather than the bamboo mat. With the mould, I can press the rice real compact. You need to apply skills using the bamboo mat. Can refer to this post on the mould http://www.jessieling.com/2008/05/16/bento-mania-7/
