Day 3 – Universal Studios

(Please proceed reading at your own risk as this post is heavily loaded with pictures. There are 60pcs of pics, cropped & photoshopped into 18 collages to save bandwidth).

Last night in the plane, I had 2 hours of sleep and today, I hit the sack at 2.30am and woke up at 4.30am. Dang! I know I’m in deep trouble but I can’t help it. My eyes just won’t fall back into dreamland. Remember Lawrence dogs? He heard me walking in the room and came scratching on my door. Hehe… i just sat on my bed and giggle. He’s so alert and cute. Good thing Lawrence house is equipped with wi-fi. I get to clear my mail and moderate whole lots some comments to kill time.

We signed up with a tour agent for Universal Studios. US$70 (RM245!!!) per person for the entrance fee plus transport.

Once we are in the park, the first thing you do is hop on the tram for Studio Tour.

Get on the tram and it will bring you around Universal Studios for some tutorial like how films are made. Stage 25, etc, is like a big warehouse. Majorities of movies are shot in the warehouse with makeshif rooms inside.

Let me show you a bit of the tutorial.

What you see on TeeVee is fiction. The car doesn’t drift. It was attached to a…. dunno what they called that.

This is how they made floods…

1. All you see is dry river.
2. And the lightining began to strike and the rain falls down.
3. Suddenly the water started to gush down. Remember, you are in the tram watching all this. It’s amazing.
4. The floods came crashing at the river banks.
5. It then flows back into the tunnel where the storage are and it was then repeatedly used to show audience.
6. It takes minutes for the flood to happen. If you are there, don’t blink your eyes. Soon the water dries up again.

The making of fire/explosion…

Some of the tutorial went in my right ear and goes out thru my left ear 😳

The making of…

Everything is from control of a button. Small pond with miniature ship. When our tram reaches, the pond was split into half. That is when Moses split the Red Sea and walk across. Too bad, the Ten Commandments never make thru our teevee. All thanks to our censorship board.

Crops that are left behind from scenes…

Please bear in mind that all these pics are heavily photoshopped into collages for viewing pleasure. For example in the 2nd picture, the logo is not there at all. I photoshop them there.

There’s so many things to see but so little time. We don’t have a leisure walk in Universal Studio. Not even have proper lunch.

All I ate is a piece of some kind of deep fried batter. There’s strawberries dressing underneath and topped with whipped cream. They are superb.

Other than taking pics with cartoon characters, we have to rush thru shows. All types of shows – pirates and even animal shows.

Not sure if Lessie in the pic above is the actual Lessie that filmed the movie Lessie. Hmm… Lessie, Jessie, Lessie, Jessie, Lessie, Jessie. It rhyme!

I find marvel heros in leotard a bit crappy especially when that “thing” is bulging up. So obvious can die lidat! I don’t watch Dora nor a fan of hers. I took pics with Dora cos Princess like Dora 🙁 . It makes me wonder, if Princess saw this pic, will she get even more sad and jelous?

If you happen to be in Los Angeles,I would highly recommend you Universal Studios. This is a place that you must visit yourself to see all the amazing things that happen behind tube. Most of the time we go “wahhhhhhhhhhh” “oooOOOOooo” or “I seeeeeeeeeee”.

I saw this apple coated with chocolate.

It reminds me of Albie licking the red apple candy in Paris *jeles*. I’ll forgo this for the time being and scout for apple candy instead.

It’s the begining of spring when I was in LA. There’s flowers everywhere.

They are so beautiful and lovely. I’m sucker for flowers.

Ok. That’s so much as what I can show around Universal Studios. Too many things to see and do + Too many pics to take and show = Too little time in hand. I have tones of pics to share. It’s impossible to show them all here.

We soon met up with Lawrence again for dinner at 6pm. Like I say, he’s such a humble person. He insist on paying during meals which makes us a bit uneasy and paiseh. But when we get our chance to pay during breakfast, he say he’s not a breakkie type of person 😡 . We never get any chance to buy him meals.

What’s for dinner?

We eat almost anything that is served. Lawrence learnt fast. No point asking us what we want. Just order! I can say he’s good with food and know what’s best. This is not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten but this is my type of pizza. Thin crust. BBQ sauce makes the pizza even more yummilicious. Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccino – You must try them! It is very very creamy.

By then, Lawrence announced, “You better take pictures of the pizza and show them to Mona. She’s buying you this meal.”

OMG! I almost wanna cry then I hear that. Mona is another friend of ours. We are all from the same hometown. I was supposed to meet up with her too. Unfortunately, she was schedule for a surgery on the same day I arrived. She called from her hospital bed shortly after we had finished our bites. It makes me wanna zoom off to her hospital and give her a big bear hug. Thank you Mona for this meal. Make sure I repay you when you are back in Malaysia. *snif snif*

It’s so freaking cold out there yet you can see folks queuing up for Cold Stone Ice-cream.

Lawrence make sure we try them before we are freeze to death on the street. What’s special? They slap a scoop of ice cream on a slab of stone and work them out by mixing nuts, fruits or candies of your choice. The ice-cream is already very yummy by itself. I don’t see why a slab of stone can improve the taste. *brrrrr…. we definitely gonna froze to death this time.

On the way home, we saw In-N-Out Burger.

On their menu, they have only 3 type of burgers 😉 Got the hint now? Can you imagine with only 3 type of burgers and their business is still blooming, you can tell that their burgers must’ve taste very very good. Lawrence again insist we must try their burger. Altho I’m so full, I just have to give them a try. I’ll have that for supper. Maybe? Do I have to tell you how good it is? It’s heaven! I love the thick and crunchy lettuce. I’m dying for greens actually. lol.

So much for pening down the whole day of event in words. Half of the time, I really dunno what I’m crapping about. 😳 See you tomorrow in Disneyland 😉

Day 2 – From LAX to Walk of Fame

That’s Curry chicken with bok choy, pasta with bake dory fish, pathetic looking fruits and tiramisu.

What happen to our lunch? Did I have lunch on board? Gee… Nevermind about that.

We touched down around 4.30pm (US time).

We don’t have a smooth clearance at the Custom. They are one bunch of @#$&*. I’ll skip the unhappy incident. It was such a relieved to get out from that tangled knot.

Our escapade start right on the dot at 6pm when Lawrence came with his red Mercedes to pick us up from the airport. There is no words to describe him. Lawrence treat us more than a friend. He makes us feel so comfortable yet not comfortable. In another word – make us so paiseh lidat.

So, a tourist ought to do what a tourist need to do right?

We drive thru Chinatown. A very quiet place. Then we spotted this…

Foo Chow Restaurant. This is where Jackie Chan filmed the movie – Rush Hour. I did not watch the movie but Hubby keep on commenting, “The place is so small. Amazing how Jackie Chan can fight in there.”

It’s only 6.30pm. See how dark the place is. Next, we went to Downtown. We are a day late for the Emmy Awards.

Kodak Theatre is the official venue to host the Emmy Awards.

Oh, who? Me?

Thank you! Thank you! *muaks, muaks, flying kisses*

Oh, who? Me? A speech? *duck from rotten tomatoes*

Right at the street, you won’t miss this cos everyone is taking pic at the walk way.

Walk of Fame – Tom Cruise is hiding from me 🙁

When you are in America, eat what the Americans eat. Yea, Beef! This is the most tender and juciest Kobe beef that I’ve ever savour. Oh, everybody. Say hi to Lawrence and Lawrence, say hi to everybody.

We soon head over to Lawrence 3 bedroom mansion. Nice and comfy home with 24 hours security. I’m not kidding you.

Everybody, say hi to Baby. I hope I get their name correct as Lawrence had 2 dogs and I can’t tell who is who.

That’s all for the 2nd day. I still miss my babies at home. At least this could brighten up Princess’s day.

Day 1 – From KLIA to Taipei to LAX

Actual event took place on 27th Feb 07 (Tuesday).

We had a quick breakfast with the kids before sending the 2 eldest to daycare centre. Environment in the house has been a bit tensed the day before when all things go wrong and to made matter worst, Princess had 2 weeks of school exams to dealt with. She’s afraid she can’t do well in her papers and has been crying on and off. That makes me even more tense to leave them behind. I can’t control my tears. I cried my way to the airport.

I tried my best not to worry about Princess. I texted my Sister and Mom telling them to have a talk with Princess later at night cos she has been crying in daycare too. Tears just rolled down my cheek again whenever I think of my babies. It’s a very very sombre take-off.

We had a very late lunch at 5pm on board.

That’s Sweet and Sour Fish with rice, Teriaki Chicken and Udon noodle, Bun and butter, smoke tuna salad (thumbs up!) and cheese cake.

Five hours flight from KLIA to Taipei. I’m stuck on my chair playing with joystick. Blueh… Good thing the stop-over is only 1.5 hours. We continue our flight from Taipei to LAX at 9.15pm. That will be another 11 hours flight (oh, my poor butt). Dinner was served shortly after boarding. That was so late.

I slept at 11pm after loosing 6 matches of Reversi in a row. Sucks! I think the Robot captured my technic. Suddenly at 2.15am (US time – 10.15am) I woke up from my sleep. Not good.

Good thing is, I get to witness the cross over from night to daylight.

From total darkness, within minutes I see daylight. Very facinating. Of course I took pictures and more pictures.

This is the only view to equalize those travelling on first class. God is fair, when it comes to million dollar views, first class, business class, economy class and cargo class, all share the same views.

Was a good thing tho I was awake. if I could keep myself concious for another 5 hours, I don’t have to be the slave of “jet-lag” 😉

I left Malaysia on 27th and it is still 27th when I reach Los Angeles. Woohoo!

Ooops! Shall we proceed to day two now?

London’s Atmosphere in Genting NOW!

brrrr…. I’ve never experience such a cold weather in Genting Highland before. Despite the thick mists, it was a bliss when the cool air sip into your flesh and makes you shivers on the spine. Not! *sigh… poor Hubby had a sneezy nose the whole day. The hot water in the flask now became his beverage instead of the baby.

Flowers is a women’s weakness. You have to agree with me on this.

Each time I’m here, I can’t resist this spot. And each time I’m here, they have different type of flowers :).

And each time I’m here, I must have their yummilicious hot piping cheesielicious sausage.

Look at the cheese oozing out.

Mind me. It cost me 4 ringgit for that miserable looking piece of sausage!!! But aitelyu, it is worth every penny. I’ve tried Marche’s cheese sausage and a few other famous outlet (that is including yours, Fishingman 😉 ) but no one can make their cheese sausages oozing out cheese like this one.

What is new in Genting, you might ask.

London!!!

The London atmosphere is here. The London bus, London Cafe, red telephone booths. Oh yea! That ugly looking soldier too. Do they have a specific name?

While we are there, they added 2 new rides which is still under construction – the Pirate Ship for the grown-up and a Choo-choo train rides for the toddlers. December will be the perfect month if you are planning to go Genting since the place will be decorated in Chrismassy mood. But bear in mind of the uninvited crowd unless you go there makan angin or jalan-jalan only.

The Emergency pitstop is new too.

Looks like human nowadays can’t live a single minute without mobilephone huh.

It’s a good excuse too for the man, “Darling, you go on the rides with the kids while I’m waiting for my mobile phone to charge.” teeheehee…

Penanghill (of course in Penang lah)

This post is overload with pictures. Proceed on your own risk. Following pictures is taken with Sony Ericsson W800i. You might want to check out Wikipedia on the history of Penang Hill.

Penang Hill is also known as Bukit Bendera (Flag Hill) in Malay. The hill is at an elevation of 833m (2,723ft) above sea level.

Walking or hiking up the hill takes about four hours but the most convenient way up to Penang Hill is by means of the funicular railway which takes about half an hour and the train may stop at intermediate stations upon request.

The tram is design to tilt according to the geographical of hills.

Passing thru the lush jungle greenery and greeted by the cooler climate of about 23°C.

In most funiculars railway, two trams at the end of a cable go alternately up and down on one track at the same time which splits and rejoins in the middle.

Both trams reaches the intersection at the same time to avoid… you know what. CRASHING!!!

Tunnel ahead

Lots of them infact. They all looks identical to me.

I seriously think that my mobile camera works better than my Olympus camera. How crappy.

Oh, before I forget, there is a transit half way up the hill. Why? Don’t ask me why.

Once we reach our destination, the first thing I felt when I embarked the trams is the cool weather. Something slightly better than my air-conditioning in the office.

Camwhore with the binoculous 😀 .

The magnificient birdview of Penang town.

There is nothing interesting to see/do beside taking pics up here.

On the way down hill, all the excitement has vanished.

So boring until can die lidat.

Amazingly all the pictures turn out awesome. I’m so worried that the pics will turn out crappy cos I’ve never trust a mobile phone for serious pictures.

The tram slant so much even the driver have to look up to us.

You may check out Penang Hotel for list of hotels around Penang.

2 Hours of Fun & Food

You like this collage? See the “Google’s Photo Organizer” button on my right sidebar? Download the software and start your own collage!

————————-

What can we ask for more amid the humid weather lately? We are dying for cool breeze! and I think it’s a good excuse to gather family members for a picnic at the beach ;). There are 16 adults and 9 kiddos – no joke. Morib beach is the nearest beach in Klang and I think it’s the only beach that can be found in Klang Valley.

You like fun? We bring lots of toys for the kiddos. There is even a toy truck so the boys are busy transporting sands and the girls basically busy picking shells and building sand castle. We had adult toys too. Not a Vibrator ok! …. a kite!

I’m just to obsessed in photography and this is the best time to take silhouette shots. I took many many of them and really love it so much.

Not forgetting the act of jumping. We jump and jump and keep on jumping just to get a perfect shots where all of us are leap in the air. aitelyu, it’s not easy!

I love this shots the most.

Contrast perfectly balance for my liking. Not too dark. But a perfect silhouette shot should have a brighter background and darker image. I know nuts about photography actually. So if you are a pro, give face a bit ok? We took lots of different post – buddha and duck post. lol. It was so much fun.

They have some kind of wrestling going on too.

2 person will get on the balance bar and start hitting. Whoever falls in the sea lost the game. Who wants to be my opponent???

Picnic can’t go without food. Since there are so many of us, we decided to have BBQ picnic.

Another collage by Picasa aka “Google Photo Organizer”. Download the software now from my right bar.

Excuse me on the burnt food. This is only few burnt, we have more burnt chicken actually! What to do, the wind is too strong plus we have few hiccups at the beginning.

When adult started to get mischievious and abandone their toys, what do they do? They decided to experiment with their food.

Coke + Mentos = ???

6ft Explosion!!!

Sorry about the pic. This is a failed project :(. FAILED!!! Failed to snap any picture actually. I so hate myself that day. How could I did such a mistake. You see, I was distracted by hubby (shouldn’t have ask him to be the cameraman!!! *grrrrr) and one, just ONE, mentos accidentally fell in the coke. It just exploded. Wakakaaa…. I was wet and it was definitely hillarious. Amazingly how only one mentos can create such an explosion. I’m go to do this again in 2 weeks time. Just watch out for this space. Ahem!

Lemon Corona

Was so busy today in my office.  Lots of paper work to be done.  Now I so needed a neck and shoulder massage.  Who wants to volunter?

Guess I need a cold eye mask too after staring at the monitor the whole day!!!

What is your usual way to destress after a hard day at work? I’ll do with a chilled lemon corona 😉 .

Didn’t know one can be creative while enjoying a bottle of chilled beer.  Learnt this from Cynthia actually. Aiks!  It says in her comment box lime goes better with Corona. Well…

Anyway, cheers all…. XOXO

Day 3 – Sightseeing in Langkawi

Woke up late this morning as we don’t have any plan for today as our flight home is around 2pm so we have at least till noon to shop a bit in town. As today is Friday and to them is their off day, we can hardly shop at all as all shops are still closed. Trying to catch a fast high calories breakfast at 11.00am but to our dissapointment the food arrived at 11.30am only! And don’t you ever think of trying out the KLG Fried chicken. Even I can fried a better chicken than them!

Among all things, alcoholic beverages are populor on the island and cheap too. For example a bottle of DOM may cost RM80 for 70cl in KL but on the island you may get RM75 for 1Liter. Even if you don’t drink, just buy them for gift to your parents or… keep them for your confinement days!

It’s about time we leave for the airport at 12noon. This is what I missed:

No jam, no rush, no deadline! (Eldest Princess say “NO HOMEWORK!”) And most of all, I missed the bitches beaches there.

Below Pic taken in Awana Porto Malai

Below Pics taken while having our Breakfast on day 2!

Everywhere you go there are bitches beaches. You can even have roti canai breakfast on a beach front.

Window Shopping

Food! But the prices is too $$$$

We return the car in one piece at the airport where we pick them up on day 1. No scratches, no dent. Checked in our luggage one hour before the departure time! hahaa!

Earlier on, we drove to the airport and park our car in LCCT. Their parking rates is RM30 per day. So I would presumed we have to pay RM90 for three days. But to my surprised, they charged us parking for 2 days and 4 minutes. That rounded up to roughly RM63 for our parking. Unbelievable! It’s cheaper than taking a public transport.

………………….

We are back on Friday which means I have Saturday and Sunday to recuperate and continue with housechores and laundries (mind you, 3 full loads!!!).

Monday morning is the usual routine. Stuck in the traffic jam for hours before reaching the office. grrr….

And the news that saddens me – a friend of mine who’s daughter is same age as eldest princess i.e. 6y/o passed away over the weekend. May that little soul rest in peace and flock happily in heaven.

Day 2 – Underwater World, Langkawi

Early rise and shine. We had malay breakfast just across the street at 9am. Wanted to try their local mee soto or laksa but both dishes will be ready at 11am only. I was warned that life in Langkawi is kinda slow. Now I started to get the hint. Looks like we have to settle with nasi lemak (spicy rice) and roti canai. I ordered the cheese roti canai. It was good. I think they used Philadelphia cheese and sprinkle some sugar in it. Yummilicious!

Schedule for this morning will be visiting the Underwater World. It was a 5 minutes ride from our hotel. I love our hotel location. Places that we intend to visit was just a stone throw away.

The gate was supposedly scheduled to open at 10am but when we arrived at 10.15am, many tourist are seen jamming up the entrance. Instantly it Snap! my mind. Malaysia Boleh! They are late again. Sigh…. Don’t they know this is a tourist attraction? Can’t they be a little punctual? Shortly after that the entrance was open. There are about 50 tourists in the queue but only one counter was open. Grrr…..

The left pic says RM28 for Malaysian while the right pic says alien will have to pay RM38 for the entrance. The problem is how do they know I am Malaysian or Singaporean? The catch is if you are a Singaporean better learn few words like – “Dewasa Dua, Kanak-kanak Dua”. There you go. Save you RM40!!! 🙂 But if you are ang moh, kwai low or westerner, just too bad unless you get the chinese or local to help out with the tickets *wink*. But if you are chinese malaysian and has been speaking slanggggggggggggg …. haha… I’m just exxagerating things here.

Well, I’ve been to Brisbane underwater world and I think the Langkawi’s was a baby and really dissapointed as how unadvance they are. No shark feeding show at all! How boring! Flamingos and mandarin duck greeted us at the entrance to the aquarium. How cute and….. out of theme!!!

You like penguin?

…brrrr…. it’s cold in there….

All they do is tickling their armpit. Bah!

I won’t be posting up any fish pic as my camera really sucks. It doesn’t have a image stabilizer and everything goes blur and shadowy. Lots of night mode function to applied and i am without a tripod. What a sad sight. I almost cry when I couldn’t get the correct lighting.

Out of 20 probably 5 can be use provided the fish doesn’t move. So how ler! tsk, tsk…

You want more pic? Actually those corals has nothing to shout about.

The 2nd pic is actually a fish and not seaweed. Forgot the name liao.

Tunnel view

Gigantic stingrays and sharks. I started to get suspicious. Is the glass made from magnifying glass? Some fishes are really hugeeeee!

Camwhore a bit here. Tehehee…

Self portrait! Finally got the hang of it.

*ahem!* all England supporter.

3D Theater

The 3D spects they gave are low quality. It doesn’t give us the 3D effect instead it makes our eyes blur and gave us headache.
Overall, I’ll give this a 6 out of 10. Probably I’ll throw in one more points being the only tourist attraction place found on this island that can be considered as … interesting? and air-conditioned?. But I won’t be back IN here for another 5 years. Maybe NEVER if they ignore my request to bring in the whale. *rolling eye*

Day 1 – Langkawi Trip, Aseania & The Datai

Few days before I went on my holiday trip, I’ve read and heard bad comments on the new LCC Terminal as how bad and unorganized the terminal is. I’ve got to proved them wrong! The air-con is colder than the one in my room and the check-in counter are well indicated on the destination!!! And 2 things I like about this LCC Terminal. We I can check in 2 hours before the schedule time (sheesh…) and….

instead of a dunno-what-you-called-them canopy escalator, we get to board the plane using a stairs which means, the kids get to see the plane at close range and those experience walking along the runway are priceless. You don’t get this truely experience in KLIA. And what I do missed in LCCT is all those duty free shops, free perfume spray and the tram ride while waiting to board the plane.

Birdview on the island before we hit the runway. Marvellous view. This is the 1st plane ride for the kids and I’m surprise they did not jump hysterically in the plane but sits obediently and constantly watching out the window except for Baby Princess (grrrr…) who is like a worm moving here and there.

Upon reaching the island, we rented a Proton Wira for 3 days 2 night for RM120 only. This is really cheap, affordable and convenient. We grab lots of road map on the island as we will be driving ourself to get to places. Our hotel is about 5 minutes ride from the airport.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located at Pantai Cenang which is at the centre of the island and tourist spots. 15 minutes to the Cable car and 15 mins to Kuah town and other spots are scattered along the way. Although they don’t have beach front, they claimed they had the longest lazy river in Malaysia which is not to my interest but I do like their pool.

Most importantly walking distance to the beach, convenient store, eateries and window shopping.

By the time we check-in to our hotel it’s about 3.15pm. Remember I’ve talk about my friend who is a chef working in The Datai? I was invited for lunch there! It’s about 30mins ride from our hotel. Sign boards are everywhere you won’t get get lost. At least we started to have some confidence driving on the island.

While waiting for my friend Chef Raymond, I try not to act like a jakun *cough* although couldn’t help it.

They have a big pond with lots of lotus flowers in there. Too bad it’s frog season and not blooming season. But the lotus are beautiful. Ya! My friend caught me snaping this pic and ask,

“Why? Never see a lotus flower before issit.”

“See before. But never see sooooooooo many of them before!”

While waiting for a buggy to arrive….

See this?! Naza Ria!!! My first time in this recliner seat. The hotel is so big unless you wanna walk from the lobby to the restaurant. But you can’t expect the Queen to walk right? (*wink, wink)

Bare Bear in mind that this is more than 5star international hotel. No kids running and shouting around and definitely no kids at any restaurant after 8.00pm!!! I can’t promised how my kids will behave but I know what is the consequences. I’ve been whispering to kids and feeling a bit awkward after that. Too high class for me liao. I wanna leave!!!!!
My lunch! Magura Tuna salad.

I’m feeling so hungry and this is what the chef recommended! Salad! Knn, come so far only eat salad meh?

Chef: Well done or medium?

Queen: (huh? tuna wor not steak la) Make it medium. *trying to look pleased but also a bit blur liao*

Since I didn’t want to sound rude, so I’ll leave everything to the chef. And I hate tuna. I mean, I do eat them but not my favourite tho. They have a strong fishy smell. But when the food arrive, I almost forgot that it is a tuna salad till I stumble upon a chunk of raw looking meat and took a bite. Hmmm… It taste heavenly! A fresh piece of tuna is nothing like the canned tuna! No fishy smell and chewy. Overall, the salad was good. Not at all regret and I know the Chef knows his cooking well!

This is hubby’s chicken salad and he keep on arguing that the tuna belongs to him. Wakakakaaaa…. Chicken breast! Pui, pui. I hate chicken breast! The taste? No idea but he finished them too while the kids had spagetti and pizza.

According to the chef, everything in The Datai are homemade. Nothing is from the store except for raw materials that is including their chili sauce, ketchup, salad dressing and ice creams!

Dessert

Homemade Mango sorbet. Taste heavenly. Hubby and the kids had ice-creams. Their vanilla ice-cream are made from the real vanilla seeds and not from the essence there fore it is not that smooth. A bit nutty but nice!

Chef Raymond

Cute or not? He looks so handsome in his uniform that I feel like hugging him *ahem*. I’ll like to extend my appreciation to him for the wonderful afternoon and indulge like a Queen. Imagine the chef sitting next to you and snapping his fingers to get attention and orders from the waitresses. So grand lidat I almost forgot my table manners.

…………………………….

On the way back to our hotel, we passed by this tunnel.

If you watch CARS, you would know this looks familiar. But if you haven’t, go watch CARS. It’s a nice movie.

And when we stopped at the petrol kiosk for gas …

Forgot the name but it’s a harbour. Very nice scenery with lack of entertainment.

That’s all for day one. So far, kids behave themself well and no one throw any tantrum. We had chinese food for dinner at 8.00pm and kids are so tired they wanted to called it a night. I’m fine with it. It was supposed to be a family holiday and not a shopping spree for me but eldest insist that I should shop a bit since we are already in town. awww…. she’s so understanding but I don’t want to take advantage on them. 10mins ride in the car, the 3 of them fall soundly asleep.

Read Day 2 tomorrow.
