This is my first time trying out studio photography. I regreted not taking a shot of how I draped up the white linen as backdrop. Excuse me, the fabric doesn’t come cheap ok. I choose the whitest and thickest (so that they would not crumple when step on) fabric in the shop and they cost me around RM40 plus for 4 meters. What’s missing is the studio lighting. Overall, I’m quite satisfy as to how the pictures turn out. Well, based on my standard ok.
The willing model this time is my 6 months old nephew, Ezekiel. He is our latest addition to my family. I’ve done some baby shots on him sometime back too when he was just day old.
There’s a few thing that I would like to add to the photos like some shadow around the perimeter but too bad, my laptop has been experiencing some hiccup lately and the CS3 program was wipe out. I’m getting a new one this weekend. Yippie! It’s a good laptop deals. But still, I need the CS3 program.

School has reopen and this year I have a new routine to adapt to, that is being the chauffeur for my 10 years old Princess as she is now in the morning session. Which also means that I have to get up at 6am (if I am preparing simple food) or 5.30am for bento that required some cooking. So far this two days, I managed to leave home slightly before 7am (since school starts at 7.15am. So freaking early!!!!). It’s a drag! It seems that I was drug by sleeping pills as my eye can hardly open.
Sadly to say, I have lost my blogging mojo during my hiatus and this is what came to my mind the first thing. Something simple yet delicious at the same time easy to prepare. I wouldn’t want my Princess to be late on her first day of school.
Top Left to right:Â Cultured drink & cherry tomatoes
Bottom:Â Ham Sandwich
At the same time, I prepared identical bento for my 8 y/o boy. Since he is in the afternoon session, I have to be extra caution to gave him food that won’t go stale by afternoon.

Heyo! It’s been a while since I posted my cooking! I was actually kinda nervous with this posting since I’ve not been blogging recently. And thanks God my password is still working! Without much further ado, I made this Feta Cheese salad last weekend for one of the forum’s party that I attended. I love it this way as I find them more healthy than those mayo or thousand island stuff of salad which is very fattening.
Ingredients:
1)Â Your choices of greens, carrot, cherry tomatoes
2) One bottle of Feta Cheese in olive oil. Since I’m catering for a party, I bought the largest bottle of feta cheese. They have smaller packaging in the market too.
3) Chicken ham or you can use the left over roasted turkey breast from your upcoming Christmas dinner 😉 . Not sure about you. I have party invitations every weekend from now on till the New Year! Don’t know should be happy or sad.
4)Â Cashew nuts – optional but I just love this combination.
Method – Combine all of the above and dig it!

I was at my usual morning routine filling petrol at my regular petrol kiosk on the way to work. While I was trying to get the Dollar to it’s nearest rounding, this regular attendant was walking toward me – young Malay chap around in his mid 20s. Gorgeous hairstyle exactly like Gorbin Bleu (or the well known Chad staring in High School Musical) but he seriously need some fat burner, . As usual, I will flash him my morning smile and he would strike up light conversation while waiting to get my car filled. This is when the perasan case came in:
(actual conversation was in Malay)
Attendant:Â You looks beautiful every morning.
*blushing*
Me:Â So you mean I don’t look beautiful in the afternoon?
*I was still blushing and never listen to what he was talking as I was still in the mid of rounding up the Dollar*
Attendant:Â Oh, that is a large keloid on…
*suddenly I felt cold water trickling down to my feet. I look down.*
Me:Â Oh Shit! Oh Shit! (Over flowed tank!)
*I was cursing silently at the faulty pump as lever was supposed to jump right?*
I grab my credit card receipt from the machine and before entering my car, I growl at him, “NEXT TIME DON’T TALK TO ME!”
I heard him laughing and another female attendant was clapping her hands.  I was still blushing and can’t wait to get rid of the petrol smell from my feet while continue my journey to the office. What a morning.

I met Edward on my flight to Beijing early of this year. And I must say, I was like a sixteen years old school girl falling all over a guy the minute we met. Vampire movie is never my cuppa tea but having to endure 6 hours of flight and nothing to do, I just watch whatever they have and it seems that fate brought us together to Twilight. Fyi, the vampires in Twilight are vegetarian so they are pretty save. Don’t worry.
When I return from my Beijing trip, I can’t keep my mind off that gorgeous messy copper head actor. I hit Google searching for information I have on Robert Pattison or better known as Edward Cullen and stumble upon a Twilight fan fiction site that has so many author wannabe making up stories using the character from Twilight. I was really hook on the fiction stories than Twilight itself.
You don’t know how much Edward has make me into.
Eh, wait….. I don’t think you will want to hear how I romance Edward right? If you are a big fan of romance novel, this is one of my recommendation. Go read Holding Out For You. This is the story about Edward Cullen (with 2 kids) who lost his wife in an automobile accident, met with Bella Swan(with a son) a divorcee. They fell in love but things was not easy especially with Elizabeth (Edward’s daughter) who thinks that Bella is trying to replace her mother. I must warned that this is not child friendly reading material. Lots of lemon and angst but it also makes me weep buckets. If you are up for some online reading material, do check them out.
I know I’m married but no rules say I can’t have little crushes over an actor right? *wink*
p/s: I thought I should make things clear here for the Hubby as he was getting a bit suspicous at the amount of time seeing me curling up on the sofa (sometimes even on the floor tiles) every evening staring at the iPhone crying!” I not guilty to admit that I’m romancing Edward Cullen.

Aiyoh, don’t ask me la. I also don’t know why suddenly all my blogging inspiration has lost. The thing is, I find updating in Facebook so much convenient these days. Sharing photographs online doesn’t require much words at all. Unlike blogging, I have to crack my brain what to write and also have to watch my grammar, which sucks big time. And I think I’m going to go slow in my blog till I get bored with stuff like farming, fishing, Twilight, New Moon, OMG! NEW MOON! They are screening in cinema next month. I am so excited! I can’t wait! *jumping like a college girl*
OK, just a few more photographs on the Little Ballerina like I’ve promised previously.
After looking at this photo, it gave me an idea. The next time I’ll have to include the full shadow in the frame. The reflection is just too breathtaking, too shiny like the granite tile.
The last one is my favourite. Obviously they have gone thru a series of colour editing.
More photographs has been uploaded to Facebook.
Ciao, Bella.

I have friends asking me on the total expenses incurred for our holiday. So this is merely a very brief post on how much we spent for our 4 days/3 night holiday to Hong Kong. These are the expenses for 2 adult and 3 children that was charged to our credit card:
- Air Tickets – Flying with MAS Airline – RM3,441.00
- Accommodation – BP International House (3 nights) – RM729.14 (HKD1574.10)
- Disneyland Entrance Fees – RM669.04 (HKD1450)
- Ocean Park Entrance Fees – RM335.33 (HKD725)
We have other miscellaneous expenses like transportation (public buses), food and shopping. All in, we used up all the RM1,000 that was allocated for this trip. I do not know which is more expensive, DIY or tour. But I think spending around RM1,200 on each person is cheaper than tour packages that could cost around RM2k per person?
Seriously, I have no time to compare prices but I like the thought of ‘sendiri jalan’ (leisurely walk) and what’s more, with 3 kids in tow. We woke up anytime we like and we don’t have to rush for time or the awaiting bus. Life is less stressful that way. Even though we might miss out the best duck in town or the best egg tart in town, what’s important is your priority. Ask yourself what you want during a trip. Walk till you drop or just a leisurely lazy holiday. We are definitely the lazy type. LOL! And I know my kids can’t tolerate long walking or shopping and it’s Summer! Freaking hot out there!
Talking about which, living expenses in HK is very high! 3 plate of chicken rice cost us about HKD95 (RM45)! Even their Vitagen is so much more expensive than ours! Transportation wise is very convenient but lots of walking involved.   I guarantee you will go slim even without taking any weight loss supplements. We are a bit spoilt as we are so used to driving back home. All in, it was a wonderful and most important, no stress holiday. How do you definite no stress? Mine would be – “Mummy-&-Daddy-is-not -yelling- at- each- other- because- of- the- kids. (well, it happen most of the time) *rolling eye*

Ever wonder why we blog? Well, blogging is like writing a diary. We jot down important dates, remembering happy or sad event, food/recipe that we have tried, or sharing good stuff liked eye wrinkle cream , etc. We blog not because we want to show off. Just merely for recording it down. I always refer back to my blog post for dates. And I want to record this important date –
The two girls has started their ballet lesson early August. I have to gave in after years of pestering from the eldest girl (9 y/o). And this time, I make her promise, “You Finish What You Have Started!” No turning back half way. And make her sign at the dotted line that it is her, who wants to take up Ballet and not me!
Surprisingly after the first lesson, her teacher told me she had so much talent in dancing and I should have sent her much earlier (*oopsie). Dancing comes so naturally in her. I can’t agree more when I watched her during her third lesson. She is able to follow the steps and flocking like any of her friends. The teacher even booked her for the coming Grade 1 exam this November. Wah, save my $$$ man!
Now coming to the Little Missy (4 y/o). Because of peer pressure, she wants to dance too. I can say no (despite she is still young and will be wasting my money on Baby Ballet) to her but I can’t stand her whining! The two girls really love it very much and has been looking forward to their lesson every week especially Little Missy.
Picture time. Too this shot of Little Missy on her 3rd lesson. Will upload more in FB when I have time.
There, now I have the dates here so the next time if I want to refer back to what year and what month they started their lesson, all I need to do is type in the keyword on the left search engine bar and viola!

Was gone and back from a short holiday to Hong Kong with the kids during the 3rd term school holiday. Too much to write but so little time I have. If time permit, I shall blog the journey, or else you can view the photographs that I have uploaded on Facebook. I’m not a camcorder person. Too shy to talk at a machine. Would prefer still photographs most of the time and this time, I have lots of them! As usual.
Hey, do try the above collage. They are quite fun to put them together.
